Become A Bang Member
The Bang now offers optional memberships with these benefits:
- A permanent nickname and password for the regular and members-only chat rooms that keeps anyone else from logging in to chat using your name.
- Identification as a [Member] whenever you log in to chat.
- Separate entrance to the main chat rooms, plus a private room just for members.
- No ads while chatting in public or private rooms.
- Immunity to room limits. In other words, no matter how many people are currently chatting, you'll still be able to log in.
- Immunity to site bans. Even if other troublesome chatters are coming from your ISP or organization, you won't be locked out of the chat. You're still accountable for your own behavior, though, and your membership will be revoked without refund if you ignore our site rules.
- Use HTML in the chat. Make your comments bold, multicolored, scrolling, and many other options possible with regular HTML commands.
- Use non-alphanumeric characters in your handle. This includes spaces and many specialized characters with some exceptions.
How It Works
- Membership at The Bang costs $10.00 per year.
- You'll get a renewal confirmation before the membership expires so you can decide whether to pay for another membership period. We won't delete any account without plenty of notice to you.
- You can pay with PayPal or credit card using a secure online order form.
- Once your payment is received you'll be contacted via email with full instructions for using your new membership.
